ANGCOSY PINTLE HITCH
ANGCOSY 30T pintle hitch without towing ball provides a safe and firm connection for vehicle towing trailers. They are designed for towing in construction, military, rugged, agricultural and off-road terrain.
ANGCOSY provides various specifications of Pintle Hitch Hook, divided into long handle or short handle, with or without trailer ball.
Features
Plug
Plug design, external buckle, simple and convenient to use, and can firmly lock the device without loosening. Bold bolts are firmer and will not break easily. The chain can prevent the bolt from being lost, and there is no fear of losing the bolt.
Quality Craftsmanship
Forging process, which is stronger than the ordinary casting process and can ensure that the parts have excellent mechanical properties and long service life, have a greater bearing capacity, are not easy to snap, safe and reliable. Black E-coat surface treatment greatly reduces the oxidation and rust speed of the trailer hook.
American Standard
The screw fixation is firmer, and the standard hole position is in line with the size of the vehicle opening. The matching screw nut is perfectly combined with the hole position, and the addition of the gasket can further prevent the screw from loosening, making the installation firmer and ensuring safety during the towing process.
Steps for Usage
Step 1
Use four bolts to secure the trailer hitch and the trailer hitch receiver together. The spring washer is placed inside the nut to prevent the nut from loosening.（Spring washer need to be installed between the nut and the receiver）
Step 2
Open the latch, lift the lock, and open the trailer hook.
Step 3
After adjusting the trailer ring to a suitable height, put it into the trailer hook.
Step 4
Lift the locker, close the trailer hook, and insert the latch.

I would classify this hitch as heavy duty. I used to have the eight ton version. The main difference between the two is the latching bolt. It’s much larger on this one. And the smaller bolt actually wore out on my last one. After only three years. It was bent and 3/4 the original diameter. That is not good. I feel much more confident with this beefy 10 tone hitch. Only time will tell, but I’m sure it’s going to work out. Oh by the way, it didn’t come with any connection bolts. You absolutely have to use the hardened specially designed bolts for this particular item.

Installed on a tractor to replace an old worn out one but this one only lasted 2 days. The clevis lip snapped causing the trailer to come off the hitch.

Delivery was fast, parts arrived as described, nothing missing, nothing damaged. The closure latch is sheet metal, thinner than what I was expecting. It’s working though and functional for typical highway use. If I was going to run this off-road, I would use one with a heavier latch.
