item fit perfectly BUT unfortunately did not work. I knew I had a vacuum leak there as it was reveled with my smoke machine. I installed this new EVAP SYSTEM LEAK DETECTION PUMP, reseted the car's computer and the code kept coming back. I checked everything else, replaced a couple more things and the code still came back until it hit me... maybe this EVAP SYSTEM LEAK DETECTION PUMP is not good, went to my local autozone, got a new one, replaced it and BOOM!!! CODE IS GONE!!!!! not sure if I got a defective one or the quality of this product is bad overall but based on my experience I will rate it 1 star as it did not work for me.The one from AutoZone was $10 more BUT it worked so I am good with that.

The quality seems very low on this part, versus what I removed. The white and black plastics appear to be melted together versus glued. It was also significantly lighter weight than the factory Chrysler part. That said, it cleared the EVAP engine code on my Jeep. And these parts are designed to be replaced every X number of years or miles. It did snap into place very tightly, so I am not at all worried about leaks for a while.

Had the dreaded "gascap" error on my 2010 Chrysler 300. Read the stored code and it pointed to a leak. Further investigation (YouTube) revealed it was most likely the Evap emissions leak detector pump. So, I ordered one. It arrived quickly with no issues. The Evap leak detector is under the right rear splash shield and is fairly easy to get to. I broke all the plastic retainers (brittle) holding the fender to the inner fender splash shield, but I got it out of the way and in an instant I had the parts changed out. I re-assembled the splash shield using new rivet retainers purchased as a kit at a familiar Freight company located at a Harbor. The new Evap leak detector worked perfectly. Cleared the codes and drove the car approximately 500 miles with not one chime or light on the dash! Stick a fork in it, cuz it's done!

La pièce a résolu mon problème de code p0456 mais j'ai aussi fait d'autres réparations. Alors je ne suis pas sûr à 100% que c'était le problème. Très facile d'installation.
