We had to play croquet at the Bridgerton Tea Party I held last month. This set is great. The only thing is the metal pieces are gold and a bit hard to see in the grass. We added a piece of colorful tape to them to make them more visible.

I got this for family gatherings to have fun. We played a lot as kids and I wanted to to share that with my kids. It comes with a nice storage bag and holds everything nicely. The color and quality of these is very nice. When you’re screw the handle into the mallets they do not come loose. The balls get a little beat up with kids m wrong but all in all there are sufficient for kids and having fun as a family. Great value and should last a long time.

Good quality for the money. Balls are plastic, not wood but that is ok. Prongs not sharp so we use a spike to make a hole in the artificial turf. Fun game for adults and kids together.

sent two yellow mallets (missing the blue one), the balls dent quite easily, and one of the striking stakes has a major crack that has required repairs after fewer than 6 games-

I was skeptical to buy any croquet set online without being able to feel it but this was a great purchase for the price. We used it most of the summer several times and it has held up great so far. Everything was as described in the description. The only thing that we didn’t like was the wickets are gold so I had to spray paint them white so you could visibly see them on the course. Def would buy again.

Delivery: When I first got the package and opened everything, the yellow ball was broken. When you shook it you could hear something rattling inside. The mallets were mostly fine, I suggest using a very fine grit sandpaper to smooth the handles. The mallet heads were mostly fine as well although the holes to screw the handles in place are a bit deep/uneven.First use: After a day of use at a 4th of July party, 2 more balls had cracked inside (Note! They still work fine? Maybe a bit off balance, but they just rattle when ever moved) And a few mallet heads had noticeable dents from where it made contact with the ball. The set still works but after repeated use it will definitely need to be replaced/repaired.Overall this is probably a good item for children if they use it as intended. Otherwise I would not recommend buying it.

We enjoy this set! Seems durable except the wicket wires are short and too thin. I made better ones in half an hour for $10. Otherwise great!

Some assembly of the mallets is required when you get everything out of the box, the heads aren't attached. You have to thread them onto the handles. Most of them in my set went on easily but one of them the threads were mangled and was extremely difficult to get the head on (and get it on straight for that matter) but I eventually wrestled it in there. Really shouldn't have left the factory like this.I was concerned that the storage bag it comes with (which is nice enough, zippered and reasonably sturdy) wouldn't fit all of the mallets in fully assembled and we'd have to take them apart every time we wanted to put the set away but it all does fit in there - though a bit more room would have been nice - if you put 3 facing one way and 3 facing the other way.The woods used are just okay, nothing strikingly great about the craftsmanship of anything in there but it's certainly not bad and considering it's a full set at this price I don't think it warrants complaints. The balls are fine, again, nothing exciting in either a good or bad way but perfectly fine for playing the game. Nothing was missing in what I received.
