Made of Wood - as it should be.Set was complete, and easily fit in its portable carry case.The pink and purple mallets were easily distinguishable however the pink and purple balls are very close in color, but in bright sun they should be different enough.The black rubber on the mallet handles must have gotten hot in transport or storage, as they were slightly melted into the post sticks, and pulling them apart damaged the rubber and paint on the sticks.

It came well packaged, everything is individually carefully wrapped .The quality of the set is very good, is a deluxe version indeed, the balls and sticks are made of wood, you can feel them sturdy and that will not break easily overtime. As you can see, this set comes colored, it was a plus and nice looking.Comes with a instructions manual that shows you how to play it and a bag to maintain everything together.Highly recommend it to do an extra activity outdoors with family or friends!

This is an awesome set perfect for yard parties. Well crafted and seems like it will hold up for many years to come. This was so much fun to have at our Easter dinner.

This is not one of those nice wooden croquet sets. It's pretty much all plastic. Even though they are plastic, the pieces do feel decently solid. The sad part is that the fit and finish isn't very well done. When plastic parts are molded, there is often a bit of flashing on the part where the mold sections came together. This is normally not a big deal, but there are some places where there really shouldn't be any flashing. Specifically, on the balls and the mallet faces. The flashing on the balls will lead to wonky rolling. The flashing on the mallet face can make hits go a touch off axis.As for the flashing on the other parts, it just makes the set look cheap.

This is a decent croquet set. It’s quite sturdy and decently made. It’s not the quality of the antique wooden set I grew up playing with my grandparents but it’s better than a set you’d pick up at a big box store. Setting this up to play brought back lots of nice memories. I’ve enjoyed teaching my kids how to play and I expect this set will hold up to a lot of use this summer.
