Been running this motor now for almost close to a year. Made it through its first year and we are now going into the fall. Just cleaned and prepped the furnace, kicked it over and once again and it was running smoothly without any issues.About a year ago, the OEM motor was whining. My guess, Bering was going out. About a week later, I had our HVAC contact come out to make sure that our AC system / coolant was set for the hot summers. Told him about the motor, he ran the heater and he could hear a slight whine, and suggested to “get ahead of the curveâ€, and order a motor and change it before it went out at the most inconvenient time.I ordered this motor. Came on time, was packaged well, had the connection and fittings that directly went to the OEM male (pull) connection was a perfect fit. No cutting, crimping or adding anything, just smooth and easy. The rubber mounts to the motor are of very good quality, and it was 3 screw in metal bolts (1/32 - size- I think) and it was replaced. The felt gasket was of good quality, and reconnected, (recommend turning off power to furnace by the way) flipped the switch, set the furnace to 80- motor was EXTREMELY quiet and kicked on immediately thereafter. All together, the job took less than 30 min to complete. Very simple, and the cost of this motor replacement was insurmountable. (Motor is a great value for the money). Here is the lowdown:Usually motors fail at the WORST of times. Our unit is over 17 years old. We get sub zero temperatures. It cannot fail during those times. To have our heating guy come out on an emergency: $165-180.00. Next, the part. He has to see if it’s on hand at a parts warehouse or if he or that HVAC distributor has it in stock at all in the first place. Could be that day? Or maybe NOT. So you could be out of heat for a bit. Or he finds the part, and it’s $300 bucks. So, add time, labor, travel…heat down. Pipes potentially freezing causing more damage and extending uses and problems. You could be looking at $500 - $600 job OR EVEN more if it isn’t caught in time. So, this motor replacement is starting to look better now doesn’t it?!?!?Get it if you are hearing that whine that’s louder than usual. Or keep one on hand even if it’s working fine. This is a direct OEM fit and it’s very well made. Solid metal parts, except for the wheel in front, but all the rest is of good quality components. Any typical slightly inclined wrench turning homeowner can do this job. This will pay you back in dividends. It’s a good strong durable motor.Good Luck!

Perfect fit. It comes with a fibreglass ring and plug and play. Definitely much quieter than the one I had before. My original part calls for hc21ze126a, and this is a perfect replacement. Which has 2 speed I think. Good product

I have a 2008 Bryant furnace, and the part looks like the one in the product image. As another reviewer said, the actual new part looks a little different, but it fits perfectly. I had partly disassembled the old components last year and lubricated them with 3-in-1 oil, which bought me some time. But the squealing returned this year, and I was about to call an HVAC company. But when I found this for sale new on Amazon, I figured I'd give it a try myself; after all, I could return it for free if it didn't work out. Well, I'm very pleased to say it DID work out, and I'm so happy about my now-whisper-quiet furnace that I'm taking time to write this review. To give a little heads-up for installation, the only screws you need to remove on the old unit are the ones that are just attached to metal--NOT the philips head ones with rubber gaskets. The ones that attach to metal are slightly harder to access (not very hard, just requiring a long 3/8" socket; I used a standard handheld screwdriver with the bit removed), but once you remove them, you can take out the whole assembly. Here were the steps I followed: 1) turn off the furnace breaker on the electrical panel; 2) disconnect the white electrical connector on the unit; 3) unscrew the three 3/8" bolts, including the one that the green ground wire is connected to, keeping the screws safe; 4) wiggle the whole draft inducer assembly out of the furnace; 5) put in the new assembly and screw it in place with the three 3/8" bolts, being sure to attach the green ground wire in the same place it was on the old assembly; 6) connect the white electrical connector on the unit; 7) switch the furnace breaker back on at the electrical panel; and 8) enjoy your much quieter furnace and its expanded lifespan. My original part was a Jakel J238-112-11203. The motor said #126 on the side, as well as 115v, 60Hz. The metal on the side said 3226634-401. I didn't see any of the model numbers on this particular Amazon item, but I noticed that the electrical connector looked the same, which is why I figured I'd give it a try. If you're even remotely handy and want to try and avoid HVAC labor costs, give it a try as long as returns are still free.PS I noticed on some other site listings for similar parts, they included a liquid gasket tube. I wasn't sure whether I needed it or not, but I did not use any gasket when I replaced the part. It's working fine without it, and I'll update this review if something happens and I realize it's necessary.

Straight forward installation with the exception of having an adhesive to hold the new gasket in place. Item arrived early for which we were thankful because we were without heat. If the product lasts (and I don't see any reason that it wont), this is an excellent replacement part.
