Replaced my Carrier furnace HC21ZE122A HC21ZS122 Draft Inducer Blower Motor with the help from various YouTube videos, I finally got the courage to swap out this part myself and without asking anyone questions about it. You will need to have some patience assembling part to the brackets and mounting it all back in the furnace. Having magnetic tools will be helpful. loosing heat before Christmas totally stressful. Had to make repairs myself in order to save Christmas budget. If I can do it, so can you. Good luck!

This item directly replaced the old motor with no modification needed. Only suggestion would be prepared to replace the push washer for the balancer. Everything fit nicely and snugged right into place.

Fitted well and identical to the old one. Heating fired up well after fitting and does exactly what it needs to do. A little nervous removing the old inducer wheel to fit to the new shaft but all went well in the end .Runs smooth and quiet . Good quality motor.

This fan motor is a direct replacement to the original. If your fan is noisy, get it. The squirrel cage is very hard to remove and is delicate. Everyone who is not getting the entire assembly should probably get the blower wheel too as it is fragile and impossible to remove. If you have the extra $ and can wait a few days, get the entire assembly from the same seller.

After double checking that this motor would fit my furnace, I ordered and received it in a timely manner. I put the part on my furnace paying attention to every detail. Fan shaft was slightly shorter but was able to get the fan on despite that. Part was installed and motor ran; however the furnace would not run.I spent an hour or better studying everything and found that the new motor was running backwards from my original motor. Flipped the motor the opposite direction as the original part and it worked fine.This is much cheaper than the OEM part but did take more time and troubleshooting to get it to work.
