Good product but DIY folks need to be careful.Why ?Because the motor that comes is a replacement part (Carrier doesn't make the original part anymore and has designated HC21ZS122 as the superseded part). The new motor can't be installed in place of HC21ZE122A because it needs to be mounted using 3 screws and the new motor lacks the threads for those 3 screws. I came across a site/youtube that discussed that issue. Can't find that link anymore.So you must un-assemble the old motor and then use its mounting (sides) on the new motor and the two long screws that hold the motor together also need to be used from old motor. Basically the new motor along with mounting sides/panels from the older motor would be re-used as a new install.This tiny detail should be mentioned on the description so people are aware.Hope this helps.

Had a rattle in my inducer due to the bearings wearing out. This one fit perfectly. Furnace is keeping everyone warm now!

So far so good. I installed this morning. The blower wheel was seized to the motor shaft. I recommend ordering a new wheel and gasket. I will update this review if it prematurely fails

When installed the item worked- But it is not from the manufacturer (Jakel) shown in the picture, which is what I expected. Feeling a bit deceived. And as another reviewer said- the mounting screw holes are not tapped and those three screws need to be "forced" in.
