If you are buying a replacement motor and not the assembly, you will probably need to purchase this blower wheel. I tried to get it off the motor without damaging it but in the end, I had to use a Dremel to cut the shaft off. It is necessary to remove the wheel to reuse the cover and mounting bracket. It is identical to the original. Installation is easy.

The product itself was wonderful. Went on fine and appears to be well built.However, as other reviewers have mentioned, getting your old fan off will be very hard because of the set screw. Mine was utterly seized. Tried all the tricks, including a variety of chemicals and waiting and even heat. Ended up needing to saw it off. So just be prepared. BUT, putting the new one on was a breeze.
