Tools Needed: (not included in the package)

Drill Set - Most common are Phillips, 1/4, and 5/16 fittings. Pliers - Help pull things off such as terminal leads.

Flat Head Screw Driver - Help pry things apart and get leverage when needed.

Wire Strippers/Cutters - To adapt and strip wiring to match up to your unit's specs.

Wrench - For loosening and tightening bolts or set screws.

Measuring Tape -Make sure you position the fan blade correctly on the new motor.

Multi-Use Lubricant Spray - Loosen up all those years of use.

Voltage Meter - Help you make sure power is off and items are disengaged before servicing.

Capacitor-Discharge Pen Or Electrical Grounded Screw Driver - This is what you can use to disengage the capacitor.

Fan Blade Puller - You most likely will need this as most fans have been on units for years and are stuck on there like glue.

Sawzall Tool or SDSB100 Shaft Blaster - In some cases, you need to cut the shaft down to match the original or cut the shaft to the old motor to get it off.

Rarely do I write reviews but I figured this deserves one, Product came a day early and was packaged nicely. Install was straightforward I had to drill 3 new holes for mounting as the old ones didn't line up but beyond that it was plug and play. The yellow/orange Rotation clip is a nice touch and makes it easy to get going.. seriously it's hard to mess this one up. If your on the fence I say go for itEven if this only works for the season I would gladly purchase again the price is unbeatable.* use the capacitor* or you may run into a weak starting motorFor the first 10 15 minutes it was pretty loud.. it settled after that, can barely hear it now.

This product works much better than and stronger than the old blower motor we had. It was very simple to replace. Took about 2 1/2 hours all together diagnosing, ordering the part, taking the old one out and putting the new one in.I am in no means a plumber or hvac or electrician. Always shut off at the breaker before doing any maintenance. Please please please try not to cut yourself as the blower housing is very sharp.I highly recommend this for anyone who has this model number furnace or close to it. Dgaa056bdtb. Works like a charm and comes with the capacitor and all the wiring needed. Might need to strip some wires depending on the connection to your circuit.I hope this helps! Thank you so much for making this available and so affordable!!!!

The motor was inexpensive versus what my original make and model cost and does the job. Only complaint I have is it is loud compares to my original and there was no instructions for installing the mount. Otherwise you tube does the job for installation.

Good price and adjustable to fit pretty much any blower with internal motor. Has plenty of speed options. If it fails prematurely I will update but ot is so smooth I don't see that happening.

I accidentally bought this to replace my electric furnace blower motor and didn’t realize it was only 120 volt when my old one was 240v. But, it works. Saved around $200 using this. All I did was hook up the 120volt power wire that kicks on with the contractor to the speed wire that I chose, and hooked the white wire to ground. and left the 120v wire that is on full time empty.

Bought to replace an old 1/8hp blower motor in my 1972 Rheem furnace. Diameter (a little under 5 1/2”) matched old motor perfectly, and 4 screws at the same location so I could use the old mount. About 1/4” deeper (around 4” vs 3 3/4”) which was fine. Shaft stuck out 2” longer then old motor, which was also fine. Same RPM, more HP, and uses an amp less current somehow. I figure I saved $100 buying this motor vs the original part, and as much as $1000 by putting it in myself. One last comment: I saw several reviews claiming this motor is loud. I tested it first without the blower wheel attached and I could hardly hear it. After adding the wheel, of course the noise increased significantly, but that can’t be helped. I suspect those that complained about noise had mounted it poorly.

If I could give this motor zero stars I would. This is now the 2nd motor in 2 months. It worked fine for the last 2 months and just recently caught fire. The first one didn’t work at all. Absolute junk

I replaced my Trane XE80 furnace blower motor (5KCP39HGS599S )with this, and it worked great. The installation was easy, and it runs quietly.

This motor is a great replacement. Easy to install a great choice. The only thing was the mounting bracket was a different size so we had to use the old bracket.Would strongly recommend this blower motor.

Based off the numbers on the old part, this should have fit. Take out your old part and check the numbers on the side to be sure. Frustrated. Wasted 11 days waiting for the wrong part.

I received my order on time, however, one of the brackets were missing. Lucky the motor was close enough to the old one I reused the old brackets. Also it says there are 4 speeds, but they're so close you can hardly tell the difference. It's smooth and quiet.

It supposedly came in a week but the shipping as passed to Canada Post. The shipping label was incomplete. I Tried to use the tracking number (~14digits) but only had 1 800 number to call. The autobot online could not handle long tracking numbers with repeated digits. After 3 tried i gave up and tried the help chat. Even tyhough the order only had PRIME as the shipping option, I was told that I had to call the shipper. After explaining that the number went nowhere, the help chat would not even trace the package.I checked all my forms and order and all my information was correct, but when I went to the Canada Post reference, only my company and city were listed. I thought it was strangebut considered it to be Amazon shorthand. I asked the helper on the chat to check the label but again, got a pat answer that they will not call a courier.Amazon changed courier and put the blame for any mistakes on me, as a client. I asked if they could reship but the package was already slated to return to sender. I was told to wait for the return to get backand after another 2 weeks, and reorder after the credit was posted. It would be summer before the motor replacement would get to me if I waited for the credit and reshipment. After several hours with the help minion, my only recourse was to reorder the same order and hope for the best. With the chat still open, I did that, but the exact same order went from $168 up to $174 yet the listed cost was the same. The chat help offered a $10 credit for my trouble and the difference charged. To make sure I got the motor. I entered my address and name on every line in the shipping label form so it appeared 3 times. To date, the replacement arrived that friday. so in 4 days. The address label only had my address in the first line, overwritten some at the end and BC in the second. The city and BC made it on the last. Had I not entered it 3 time fully, the label would have had blanks which I suspect the first one had.I installed the motor and it worked. The mounting is generic straps with no precise centering, so hard to balance. Also, no mounting screws which needed to be longer for their thicker feet. So even with 5 rubber isolators, the motor vibrates and is noisier than the old one that audibly cried before it failed. It did come with the required capacitor.Bottom line, the motor works, is noisey as an old car, and shipping is very sketchy. I have not recieved a credit for the returned one, nor the difference in cost, nor the credit promised. If there was any other reliable alternative supplier, I would use them instead. Very hard to just buy a loose motor and install it yourself. Nobody carries them now that amazon has cornered the market.
