This is not the easiest pipe insulation to work with but I was able to get to installed on my water system to help insulate the pipes and the warming wire I installed along the pipe to keep it from freezing in our pump house.
An excellent way to save energy!
I haven’t used this type of pipe wrap in the past because it’s more difficult to work with than the performed insulation, but with 1” pipe and heater wire there aren’t any economical options.

Got this as a replacement for the garbage insulation tape I got at the hardware store. The other stuff ripped apart way too easily and did not stick at all. This worked perfectly. Good material, and good adhesion to itself, to the pipe, and to the insulating foam I put under it. I needed to winterize because last year’s big freeze left my outside tankless hot water heater inoperable. The last several nights have been below freezing, and I still have hot water.

I liked this product for coverage of my water lines. I was able to use it several ways and the material was easy to work with. Must handle it carefully. It has kept our pipes safe and I was able to get them all with one order. Very easy to use.

I ordered 2 rolls, but only received 1. Of the 1 I did receive, the roll appears to be good quality.

While I think it will do the intended job, it was very sticky, messy, and difficult to wrap on the AC tubing. It came out looking messier than I would like. In the future I would use something different and definitely not buy this again. I think something like the split foam tubing secured with wire ties would be preferable.

It was smaller than I thought but I wrap my pipes with it we'll see how it goes I cannot complain right now I will update a letter date we'll see how it goes.

I used this product on my well pipes a month before it snowed in Quincy, Florida. The pipes never froze.
