Got these to keep in my recovery kit for off-road adventures. They feel really solid.They have rubber pads on them to cushion the contact points. They also have threaded bolts with pins for extra security.Have not had the need to use them yet and will update when that time comes.

This is a standard shackle with a pulley to convert it to a snatch block. It is nicely made, nicely finished, and I like that the shackle pin takes a nut rather than threading into the shackle body. A retaining clip keeps the nut from unscrewing. You can use this as a standard shackle or with the pulley installed. When you are trying to retrieve a vehicle, having flexibility is a good thing. The working load limit of 4.75 tons is cast into the side of the shackle. A protective rubber insert is included. All pieces have a very nice and thick coat of black paint. Will definitely stand out in the snow or sand!! This is a nice piece of kit.
