Ever since i bought my car, I noticed that water would get in the door frame a bit every time I washed my car or it rained. I mentioned it to a mechanic friend of mine who said i needed to put in weather stripping to prevent that; and he also said it would block out a lot of the road noise, too.And man was he right! I really like this door seal strip. I don't know how it compares to other shapes of weather strips, but I like how it's a mini pyramid of little circles, instead of one big circle. It seems like it would have better tension against the door, and create a better seal. I don't know if that's true, but that's what I think is going on.Anyway, just adding a line of this weather seal going around the bottom of all four car doors has blocked out so much road noise, it's unreal! Also, the inside of my door frame stays dry now, when I wash my car or drive in the rain. That just seems like an important way to prevent rust from building up in my car.I wasn't sure how much I needed, so I didn't order enough and had to buy another roll; so however much you think you need, maybe get another roll just to make sure you have enough. I recommend getting this type of weather strip, though, I really like the way it's performed on my car.

It's not quite as wide as it seems in the pictures. I wound up using two strips side-by-side on my car door.

I got this for review and I used it for the purpose of sealing my truck bed cover between the cover and the bed rail. This is a tad thin or narrow for that purpose in most regards it's only about 1/2 of an inch wide and tall both. Now with that said it's also 58ft. long so I was able to place 2 rows side by side and frankly I think a single row would have sealed it up perfectly. This stuff is very soft and pliable and the adhesive on the back is decent, I was expecting this to be somewhat stiff but that is not the case at all. I would describe this as almost a foam rubber type substance which makes for a very good water and wind seal on just about anything. I can see how this will have multiple applications in the automotive section for trunk lids to door and even hoods. I highly recommend taking a good look at this product, it is really nice for the price and it does a great sealing job overall at least a 8.5 out of 10 for me. I will look to purchase more in the future.
