Product is exceptional at connecting 2 wires and shrimp wrapping the ends as it advertises. It is even good at soldering an end onto a wire while it shrinks over the connector end by cutting one side or the shrink wrap back part way. However there are no instructions so you have to guesstimate how long to heat the connector with the heat gun while turning to heat all sides evenly. It isn't that hard since the shrink covering is clear and you can see the solder melt. Not only that but the solder seems to melt when the shrink wrap is finished shrinking so so connection and seal finish around the same time. After completion let it sit and cool a few seconds before moving or pulling the wires to allow perfect connection. The locking clips on the box are the usual cheap quality you get on a typical shrink wrap plastic box that won't last very long so close carefully. The larger quantities of this product appear to also have a better sealing box. I have been a mechanic for nearly 50 years and this is as critical as I could make the review. The main thing is this is clearly a great 5 star product for connecting wires.

I liked these a lot, as they were easy to use with just a wire stripper pliers and a heat gun. You can see pretty reliably whether you have a good connection or not. The combination of the cool melt solder and the hot glue hold the wires quite securely. They are thin in diameter and fit inside the plastic comb wire harness well. They have proven to be reliable for my trailer wiring.The only minor issue I had is if you hold the heat gun in the same place for too long, it is possible to melt through the protective tube, which could allow for a short. I think I only did this twice when starting out (short learning curve), and then did more than 40 connections without having another problem. They are one-time use - if you do make a mistake, you have to cut off the wire, take a new one, and try again.

These are the best connectors! Crimp connectors are history! Just need a heat gun and you have a secure, solid, watertight connection

These are excellent. I am a novice at electrical stuff. So far I’ve repaired an extension cord and an electrical cord that comes out of my bandsaw. The person who did the wiring before me on the bandsaw power cord did an ugly job.Applied heat shrink over everything once complete. These are user friendly. I use the porter cable hear gun on high and it’s done in a few seconds.
