First, I did like the fact that this product was affordable for me in a land of stainless steel pet tubs that cost sometimes in the thousands. Also, it saves my back from bending over to wash my pet in the tub. However, the smaller tub is barely large enough to wash my 16 pound toy dog. The basin of the tub is not angled so the water drains, it just sits and has to be squeegeed. The drain assembly and drain kit is really cheap plastic, and it developed a leak at the p-trap at first use. I had to put a bucket under it, and I'm going to have to replace the entire thing with a stainless steel drain assembly so I can attach a sturdy pvc or plastic drain kit instead of the horribly cheap one that came with this sink. The rear and side walls seem like they will be water proof, as they have a neoprene like layer added to them. However, when I water tested, they leaked at the corners, and I had to add clear sealant all the way around. The sink comes with a little wire tray that mounts to the rear wall, but it takes up much needed room, so I'm going to have to remove it and waterproof the holes. Also, on the side where they put the attachment for the dog safety leash, it would in no way keep a dog from jumping out and strangling himself. It should have been put on the back wall. The sink is also rather short. I have it raised up as far as it will go, and I am only 5'2".If you keep these things in mind, and find issues like these a minor annoyance, have at it. I couldn't come up with an alternative, so I made it work.

It is thin steel and a grad of Stainless that may not last forever. So why do I give it 3 stars. It is so much less expensive than some. Yes it's light weight and could be sturdier but it is such a pleasure to use. It functions just as it should except for one design flaw. The steps. The surface is slick and the step has no way to secure it so it doesn't slide back up in under the washstand when dogs climb it but especially when they come out. I took industrial nonslip tape to cover the step treads and use a clamp to secure the steps from moving. My 9 year old Airedale with Hip dysplasia fell out of it because the step retracted while the was coming out.

I wasn't expecting this to be as nice and heavy duty as it is. It was pretty easy to assemble and use. It made giving our pets a bath much much easier. Just make sure you have the space for it!

Does giving your pet a bath result in a dirty shower / tub and lots of time spent cleaning hair from the drain? You can install this pet washing station OUTSIDE if you like, which means the MESS can stay outside! The quality of this is amazing. It's like a piece of commercial equipment. Has steps and a sliding door if you aren't strong enough to lift your pet into the tub!Assembly isn't too hard, but there's quite a bit of hookup and setup to get this running. You'll need hot and cold water and a drain line. So be sure you're up for the installation!Cost isn't too bad, especially when you look at how much it costs to have your pet groomed professionally. This pays for itself in 5-6 visits. Well worth the cost, if you ask me. Very happy with this! 5 stars!

This was intended for bathing pets, the edges are extremely sharp and I was not impressed with the quality as soon as I opened the box so I returned it.
