I have a two horse with small weekender gooseneck trailer that came with the poorest excuse for safety chains I can recall ever seeing. I was never comfortable hauling with them, so when I had the trailer in with the welder adding some things to it, I also ordered these and had him replace the chains. He said they were good quality, easy to work with, and could probably stop a freight train now. The C snaps fit fine around the brackets on my B&W turnover ball hitch kit.Very pleased with the upgrade!

Originally purchased the larger chains because they were only a few dollars more... But much too large for a utility trailer. Repurchased the 1/4 inch chains and they are perfect. The Clevis Snap hooks are much nicer than the ones that came pre-installed on my other utility trailer. Great buy!

Very nice chains, but when I tried to use them to let my tiger play in the back yard, he got loose and ate a few of my neighbors' dogs. Now I'm not very popular in my neighborhood and they're still trying to locate Tigger.
