Easy to install. Comes with a srew driver. I used a seam ripper to make a small hole, thread the base in and then screw on the spike.

For some reason I thought there would be plenty for what I needed it all for but that was my fault. Its easy & looks great but you really do need a lot for even small basic things. Which in end could be costly. Id rather buy it this way than at a craft store though cuz you get a little variety & a container for it. It seems cheaper this way too. So far it works just as well as any other spikes or studs I've worked with.

Got these for my gothic daughter to add spikes to ear muffs and her thrifted leather jacket. She had a pretty hard time using the punching tool to puncture the leather, I tried and also had a hard time. I ended up taking a screw and puncturing it instead. They are pretty cute and she is over all happy with it, but because it was difficult she ended up pausing her project and still has a good bit to do to make it how she wanted it.
