One review said they weren't sharp at the very end, true, but sharp above the end and they cut a blunt edge to the bottom of my thick hair perfectly. Easy to handle. I had to tighten them a little and then they were perfect. I'm even using them on my 4 year old Shih Tzu. Not a groomer here, but with the cold weather, I'll wait a while to have her groomed.Very nice scissors.

We have a medium sized white dog. He has seasonal allergies so we try to keep the hair around his eye trimmed. I was using my own hair cutting shears and was constantly worried I would accidentally hurt him with the sharp ends. He starts to panic when he sees my big shear coming toward his face. These are small so I can hide them in my hand a bit. They are nice and sharp and make quick work cutting his visor and whiskers. The blunt ends take away my fears at least. They are actually better than I expected. Only have two problems now. Remembering where I put them and getting the dog to hold still. :) Great purchase. Happy trimming!

They were good to cut the fur from between my briard's toes. Only down side is they were so small for me--i used them a few times and they haven't been seen since.

Good size. The cutting action is not very good. However, they rusted so bad I threw them away. Do not recommend.

I used to have such a hard time cutting the hair in my westies ears! He absolutely hated it. I thought it was mostly because he felt me touch the hairs inside his ears and therefore it would trigger a jerking reaction from him. But since I've been using these I've found it wasn't actually me touching the hairs all along but the SOUND of the scissors that did it! I mean I'm sure touching it has a little to do with it but I kid you not, I was even touching those same hairs with these scissors and had ZERO flinching! Plus if for some reason he did flinch now, I'm not as worried since the ends are blunt/rounded so they are so much safer!!! I was able to do both ears without him trying to squirm away in a matter of minutes. Before he would be CONSTANTLY trying to escape because he hated it so much!I also feel so much more at ease in cutting the little triangles of hair by the inside corners of his eyes! No more fear of gouging his eyeballs out!!

Brought these rounded scissors to carefully trim the inner of my dogs ears, as she was constantly getting large amounts of wax stuck to her hair. They are super easy to use and the rounded edges definitely provide protection from any accidents. Great buy
