This small flashlight turned on brightly and easily upon arrival. It instantly shows any "protein" spill for fast cleanup when you have a puppy in training. The aluminum body has a nice weighty feel, unlike most small flashlights this size that almost feel as if they are made of plastic. The UV light is bright and did not waver in and out. The power button is tactile, which is nice since you'll be using it in the dark for best results. It comes with a very short usb cable.

I have better UV lights ,but they're also more expensive. At the $13 price point this is a solid purchase.* Has a relatively harrow beam.* Appears to be 365nm like my other 365nm lights, and this wavelength causes major fluorescence.* It's a relatively simple light, no frills, no extra features.* Charges USBC* Has a lanyard* Does not appear to be water-proof.

This is a great little flashlight for travel and around the house. It is perfect for the average home. I used it to find all the dirty areas I wanted to test and it showed me the dirt. It also let me see that my hampster who uses his litter box doesn't while he is spinning in his wheel so now I clean his wheel with vinegar every couple of days. Too lazy to leave the wheel to use his litter box. When using this in a totally dark room you will be able to see all the dust specks and other dirt and germs. I will be taking this on travel with me to inspect my hotel rooms. I love that it is rechargeable, I have been using it for 2 months and have not had to recharge it since the first full charge. I recommend this blacklight.

I love checking the rooms once a week and seeing what needs to be cleaned. It helps with splatters on the walls or pet stains on the rugs. Works great and is rechargeable
