per charge, making my rides much more enjoyable and hassle-free.What stands out the most is the impressive range. I can cover much greater distances on a single charge, which has transformed my longer commutes into something I no longer need to worry about. The fact that this battery is compatible with 36V, 48V, and 52V systems adds to its versatility, ensuring it will work with a wide range of e-bikes or any potential future upgrades I might make. It’s also been very reliable and durable so far, holding a charge well even with frequent use. The charging time is noticeably faster compared to my old battery, which is a huge convenience. Despite its solid performance, it doesn’t add much weight to the bike, maintaining a sleek design that fits seamlessly without any awkward bulk.

Great battery. Easy to mount and the rubber dampeners are great. Make sure you know that this battery does not have a controller and will only add to the battery that you have. But that being said it works great and just as advertised.

I bought this LGECOLFP 48V x 15Ah = 720 Wh battery for upgrading my wife mechanical cruiser bike to an ebike with a Voilamart 48V 1000W front wheel. The second reason I chose this battery was, its dimension and voltage are exactly same as the battery on my factory built Heybike Race Max 27.5" so the two bikes can exchange the batteries if necessary. The LGECOLFP battery serves us well so far.1. Shipping and packaging: Baterry arrived 9 days after ordering (November 2024). Battery was well packed inside a cartoon box. The battery was well placed inside a styrofoam material which was molded to fit the size of the battery and the size of the box. This created a strong protection and shock absorption to the battery.2. Wiring: The battery has a 5-pin connector and attached to a 5-pin holder (search youtube on how to release the battery from the holder). The power cable from the holder had a XT60 male connector. There is a separte XT60 female connector with two short 12 gauge wires (about 5" long) for connecting to the controller of the wheel motor (which also has 12 gauge wires in my case). You will need to buy a few feet of more wire for the distance from the battery to the controller, depending on where you mount the controller. In my case, the controller is in the front basket so I needed to add about 5 feet of wires.3. Charger: The battery came with about 80% charged (I guess, eventhough the test button showed fully charged). That was a good thing because we don't want to store the battery at 100% charged. I charged the battery to full before the first use, and it took about 2 hours to fully charge. The charger has an internal fan with open windows at both end, that helps with ventilation and keep the charger cool during charging. The Li letter on the charger displays red while charging and green when fully charged. The charging port on the battery has a rubber cap to prevent water to get in. The USB port is very convenient for other uses.4. Range: I tested rides the bike to and from work, a 30 mile round trip with many big hills up to 10% grading. I used both throttle and peddling together. The average speed was 15 mph. There was still around 45% battery remained at the end of the day. I tested on a cold day (29F) and a cool day (50F). Since it was in December in New England area, I didn't have a chance to test it in hot weather. On the cold day (29F) I preheated the battery at home to 75F using a thermal blanket and monitored with a themocouple thermometer (the bike was in the living room, around 62F). I then wrapped the battery inside many layers of cloth to keep it warm during the ride. When I arrived at work, the temperature of the battery cover was 65F. I didn't see lost of performance or lost of range when the battery was well insulated in the winter. It took about 3.5 hours to recharge from 45% to 100%. For safety I always charged the battery after work (to get ready for the next day riding), kept track of the time, and unplugged the charger when the Li light is green (full).I only had the chance to ride my wife bike up to 160 miles then the winter came. New England is dumped with mountains of snow and there is no way to commute by bike. I store the battery at 60% charge and wait for the spring to come.My wife likes her "new" DIY ebike a lot. With this battery the bike can speed up to 27mph (that is the limit of the motor) no problem with only throttlling. She wants me to buy a second battery so we can go sightseeing for 60 miles without worrying her bottom getting hurt from pedaling. I'm waiting for the spring to come then buy the second battery so I can test it.One thing I could see was, when the charge dropped to 15%, the 1000W motor drawed too much current that the battery meter on the controller screen dropped to 0% when I turned the throttle, and the bike had no power. When I released the throttle, the meter came back to 15%. Anyway I won't let the battery drops down below 20% because that will reduce the life of the battery. I can set the motor to 750W limit, that may help to increase the battery range (I will test this out in spring). At 750W, the speed is limited to 15mph and that is fast enough for my wife, also good for the bike since it only has rim brakes, not disc brakes.Longevity: We have to wait until spring-summer-fall to ride a lot to see how well the battery keeps the charge.Summary: The battery was shipped with well packing. The battery drives a 1000W motor through many hills for 30 miles (with pedaling) and still have 45% charge left. The battery performed well in cold weather when in good insulation. All in all we are very happy with this battery and we are waiting for spring to come to buy a second one. I would recommend this battery to ebike DIY enthusiats.

Best decision ever made, was looking for reasonable priced battery bought it and never regret it.The power was remarkable drove 6 miles and to my surprise it still had charge to take a trip for a few more the next day. Takes 3 to fours to charge depending on how low the battery .Works very well.

I bought this battery to go with an electric bike conversion kit for my custom built bike. The battery is dense and sturdy, with a reliable charge and delivers enough power to not just get where I'm going but keep up with traffic on city streets. My only complaint is the quality of the included charger, which feels pretty low quality. I even had mine die after about 2 months, but the store quickly helped me out to get a new one sent to me. Other than that, this has been a perfectly fine product and has worked well to get me around town rain or shine.UPDATE Nov 24 2024The included charger I mentioned above caused a fatal problem with the battery. Despite the LED indicator showing that the battery was fully charged, there would be no power to the controller, throttle, nor motor wheel of my bike. If you experience any issues with your charger or battery, immediately disconnect and do not use the charger again. You will need to test the battery terminals with a multimeter to determine if the battery has been killed or not. The sellers have been decently responsive and are helpful when I contact them. Do not be afraid to do the same.
