Fits very well inside of 2 1/4 inch fuel hose neck. Used to raise the hight of fuel caddy filler neck. The body and cap was solid aluminum.

Warning - purchased this advertised ( 2†weld in filler neck ) for a fuel tank build - and received a TINY product .. overall OD for product (cap) was just 2†- actual opening was aprox 1.25†—- inappropriate for a large fuel tank..

Typical Chinese junk , OD measurements instead of ID. Every bit of Chinese junk you get from Amazon is small . When you read the description and it sounds like it was written in a 3rd world country, it probably was.

Return is easy but needing this for a project left me stranded. Now I gotta wait longer to finish this tank. Definitely not 2.5†anywhere on this entire thing.
