Very nicely made. Looks great. Closes tightly. I haven't had it long enough to know how fresh the coffee will be at the the bottom of the canister but it has to be better than storing them in the bag.

This large canister holds a big package of coffee beans. And since it seals, the beans will stay fresher than if they stayed in the bag they came in. It’s good for coffee that’s already ground, too. There’s a dial on top where you can indicate the month and day you put the coffee in. A measuring spoon also comes with it. It looks nice in my counter, too.

I have purchased two canisters by this manufacturer and love them both. They are Well made, keep coffee fresh with tight seal and love the scoop that comes with them. Especially love the capacity. Would recommend this to anyone that uses ground coffee.

I've been wanting one of these for a while. It's replacing a months-old Trader Joe's can I've been using. I can't stand scooping out of the bags. This one holds about a pound. My last grocery delivery brought ground coffee instead of whole-bean, so I'm not sure if the whole pound of beens would fit, but I imagine it would. Looks nice. The chrome hardware could have a little more style, but they work. The little scoop that came with it was broken. The three tiny spot welds that held the handle to the scoop didn't hold. But, it was too short, and looked too small to me. Would have just gone in a drawer anyway. The seal looks effective. Hopefully it's durable too. Pretty happy to finally have something to store my beans in, and keep them fresher than my old coffee can.

I actually use for my friendship tea. Works perfectly. I like sunny yellow color - it is a warm yellow, not too bright. The top latches down tightly so mostly airtight. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - nearly 6,000 reviews posted, viewed over 50,000 times, and over 24,000 likes.

I loved my first canister so much - simple elegance - that I ordered a second one. The first canister had a spoon that clipped to the side making it so convenient to refill espresso beans to my machine. An older model spoon was accidentally sent with the second canister so it wasn't able to clip on the side. Bianca (CafetastiQ Customer Service) said they didn't have an individual spoon to send, but would send me a new canister that would include the updated spoon. How AWESOME was that? I was floored by her generosity, but declined the offer since it'll be easy enough to share the one spoon between the two canisters!!! I will definitely be a REPEAT customer and tell all my coffee drinking friends to order this beautiful canister!!! Betty
