Upon opening the package and begining to install the tensioner on my 1 year old squeaking tensioner (bought off of Amazon) I noticed that the outer flange on the serpentine pulley was cracked. This is most likely due to the thin, cheap materials used in its creation. To be honest if I wasn't pressed for time I could make a better quality pulley on my 3D printer. Do yourself a favor and buy OEM. Self admittedly my laziness got the better of me here, I have a very fast paced career so being able to buy on the fly comes in handy. This is one of those buyer beware instances where it pays to take the extra time and buy OEM.I was going to ask for a replacement however the only option seems to be a return for a new item on this purchase. Amazon wants $7.00 to provide a box and label. By the time I pay that and spend the gas/time to take it to a UPS depot I decided to just get a quality one from my local dealer and take the loss.

Spring is loose but it does adjust with the belt. Some others don't spring tension is weak. So far so goodbit not sure about how long it will last.

Installed these early Nov 2024 and both bearings are already making noise indicating there are going bad after a month and a half. Should have bought ACDelcro to begin with. Won’t buy from this seller again.
