Although the instructions were lame I was able to put this together if there were none at all. Installed this over the doors of my man shed. The key for me for a great result was any piece that I assembled I used 100% clear silicone where pieces attached to each other. Took me about one hour to assemble the entire 2 section awning, and then I let it sit overnight for the silicone to cure. The next day I added a few self tapping 3/4" long screws to make it even stronger. I was able to lift the over 7 foot long assembly with just one hand and install by myself. 2 peeps would have been easier but it's very lightweight. Really nice for under $50

I have to warn you. My handyman had a time putting this together so I’m assuming directions and/or product is difficult to assemble

Easy to put together but it did not work for our door because we had no where to put the middle bracket
