This was my first attempt at latch hook. I ordered this to do as a baby shower gift for my first grandchild. It's labeled as a rug but isn't that big. This is more of a size to hang on the wall to look at. That's my only complaint. The kit comes with everything needed and took me less than 1 months th to complete. Looks great and I can't wait for the baby shower.

Positives: Fun to do. Easy too. However, I made a color change and used darker yarn that I already owned as a majority of the bears' outline b/c I liked the photo advertised. The actual yarn provided for the outline of the bear is a lighter color. That was not what I personally expected or enjoyed. Negatives: The rug is slippery. When you step on it, it is not as slip resistant as a rug should be. Therefore, this was the major thing that I didn't like about this kit. I will give it 4 stars vs 5 b/c this issue will cause me to have to buy a separate non-slip bottom and fix this rug.
