Very easy installation--just plug it in and it's ready to use. You can move it to different rooms or outlets without difficulty. It's compact, but still provides a lot of information on a bright, easy to read screen. Good value for the money and the manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty.

The original CO detector we ordered would not charge despite being plugged in. We went through all the supposed steps and finally Amazon shipped us a replacement one. The replacement one works great and gives me peace of mind while using our gas fireplace. I have kiddie ones elsewhere in our home and they are very expensive, this was much less expensive and frankly looks far more attractive. Aside from the initial detector being a dud, the replacement works great and we're happy with it.

I bought 2 CO detectors and love them. They are small and look good. The units have a rechargeable backup battery which was a plus, no more replacing batteries. I also wanted to know the level of CO if any I have a gas fireplace and wanted to know the level while it's running. I would recommend this to a friend or family member
