Plugged into wall outlet by our master bed. Started to heat up immediately with the seconds counting down as instructions said it would, and within minutes, it was complete. I ran the alarm test and it worked perfectly. We only use propane for our cooktop and fireplace logs. It’s very comforting to have this detection if we ever need it!

Product as described. Plug in, doesn’t require any setup.I’m using it between my furnace/natural gas water heater room and another room that I have a natural gas stove in to heat my basement. I’ve been concerned that perhaps I was getting so bad/poisonous fumes and or a leak in this area and wanted to make something to monitor them at all times. Situation appears that everything is a okay! So happy to have the additional monitoring for just in case.

I had work done on my NG line and thought I smelled a leak but was assured it would dissipate. I bought this for assurance that there was not a leak. We discovered that there was still a natural gas leak and this detector read zero when right next to it. May work for CO but not natural gas.

Using this in my off grid popup camper that i’m using a diesel heater in and wanted co2 monitor working full time. I also run a little buddy propane heater with always having ventilation to the outside but can never be 100# safe, hence the monitor. If while smoking my pipe I blow some smoke the monitors way, it definitely picks up on it and lets me know, so i’m impressed !Longevity is the key. Couldn’t beat the price and it looks pleasant and is small unit !!
