I can't say how well they work because we haven't needed them and hope we never do! But, I can say they look good, they are small and very easy to mount on the wall (either with the included screws or adhesive mounts also included) and the instruction manual is very informative.

I love that it comes with a 10-year battery, so you don't have to replace the batteries every year or so. It's really easy to use & works great. I tested it out by putting it behind the running car & it went out right away. Good medium size. I like that you can put it anywhere & turn it off if you're not using it. A bit expensive but well-made and just works great. I recommend.

Every year, we hear of someone who dies from carbon monoxide poisoning in their RV/Camper. The appliances are very different from residential appliances, and not everyone is aware of the differences and dangers. I couldn't put a price on safety, or peace of mind, but I would spend whatever I needed to to make sure we're safe. Luckily, this CO2 alarm is well under $40. It is battery operated, and the battery is rated for 10 years, so we can rely on it for quite a while. There's an indicator when the battery gets weak and the detector needs to be replaced, the battery status is always on the display. Because it's battery operated, no wires or other hook up is required. The detector has a very small footprint. It's portable enough to take with us if we needed a detector. Great product.

Got this to replace my old CO2 detector which constantly ran through batteries. This is so nice because of the 10yr battery life. This is small and inconspicuous and easily mounted in our laundry/furnace room using the provided double stick tape. It was easy to set up and I like that it shows if there are any small traces of CO2 in the house, which this is the first one I've seen that does that. I really like this.

I guess if I smoked Cigarettes I could have tested this detector to be sure it would detect CO gas, but every thing that I can see, hear and feel checks out that whoever made this detector was making a quality piec e of equipment, It even comes with a little tool, a white piece of plastic that allows you to turn the detector on. This is "needed" because the on-off switch is recessed and cannot be turned off easily, a safety design item I am sure. It does have a readout for CO quantities so that one can determine if there are small concentrations of CO in the house. While it has the same molecular weight as Nitrogen not all that much different than "air" they suggest that the alarm be positioned high in the middle of a room. I guess CO is often the product of combustion, the heat would also give it buoyancy.Mounting hardware is included.
