I got this to put in the attic. I hope to never hear the beep, but it did work when tested. I do like that it shows the temperature and humidity, which could work well for someone that would like to also use this as a plug in thermometer. It's also nice to know you could take this with you if you travel often. The small size would easily allow you to carry it with you and plug in wherever you are to give you peace of mind. I'm not sure how long the battery lasts, but that's also a nice function of this device if you can't plug it in somewhere. I could see a device like this being very beneficial in an RV, because it doesn't take up much space and is so versatile.My Star Rating Scale:5 stars - Perfect, or as close to perfect as possible and would definitely recommend to anyone.4 stars - Works well, but could see some minor changes that could make the product better. A pretty straightforward smoke detector that can either plug into the wall or operate on its built in rechargeable Lithium battery. When you plug it in it automatically charges the battery. The LED display shows the temperature and the humidity. Buttons control the LED's brightness and the alarm. To test it they tell you to burn some paper and let the smoke permeate the detector. I did so and it picked up the smoke, beeped, and displayed "SMOKE". It took about a minute to do so, and I was a little concerned because it only beeped a few times. But I'm guessing that was because the smoke dissipated pretty quickly. Seems like a good device.

The 3 in 1 Smoke Detector works very well, responded immediately on my test. It also shows the temperature and the humidity on the display. It is compact, easy to operate, and it can be plugged in an outlet, keeping the battery charged, or portable. The battery is a backup if the power goes out and it also make it portable, the battery last for 10 days. The power connector can be replaced with a provided lid with a strong magnet, making it smaller, pocket size, and can be stuck on any metal surface. For now, I stuck it to the fridge door in the kitchen and probably it will stay there. It needs to be placed where there is a good ventilation for a good detection.The thermometer and the moisture meter so far are not showing the right numbers compared with the sensors I have, AC digital thermostat, a multifunction thermometer, and a small thermometer/humidity. Compared side by side with each one, the temperature shows 2 degrees F lower and the humidity around 3 and 4 percent less. I'm not sure if there is any way to calibrate it, but it's not a big deal for me because I can get used to it and it's not the main function of this device.It is a great device, and I loved the fact that it can be placed anywhere, anytime.

I grabbed this to use as an emergency smoke alarm that can be placed anywhere at anytime, and I have to say it really does do the job. The battery on it lasts over a week. The manufacturer claims 10 days, but unfortunately someone here at the house plugged it back in on day 7, so that is as long as I am able to confirm at this time. I tested putting it outside near my smoker while cooking to confirm that it does detect smoke pretty quickly and effectively. The one flaw seems to be temperature detection. Plugged in it read a few degrees higher than my temp probes that are confirmed for accuracy. Not a huge ordeal since its primary purpose is as a smoke alarm, but it is something to factor if this is of importance to you.Overall, I'm happy to recommend this as a portable smoke detector/alarm. It does great for this task.

Love this.Rechargeable stand alone smoke detector. You can recharge this and hang it up, it lasts about 4 days, conservatively, until you should recharge it. Charge it by attaching the outlet adapter which twists in where the magnet is located.Super easy to use. And ot works well. Best thing os that we have not had to replace any batteries since we got it.
