I love this, and I think everyone should own one. It's well built and a good size for travel. The included carabiner and magnetic back are the perfect mounting options for travel-friendliness. The display is nice and legible from a distance without being too bright at night. The temperature and humidity are great to have included, but I'm not sure of their accuracy because I simply haven't validated them. Where it counts though, it's accurate - it does detect CO levels and does so well. The battery has lasted me about 5 days of constantly-on operation, I haven't attempted toggling it on/off, but this is far beyond my expectations for battery life.I got this specifically for going camping, I occasionally like to run a propane heater in my tent for short durations. It's so handy though, I think I may just keep it as a mainstay of my travel kit anywhere I go since I can't be bothered to check or know if the CO detector of every place I travel is operational (particularly if I'm going to be traveling abroad).I validated this works by putting it in the exhaust of my generator. You can do this with any CO detector with anything that burns gas, and I encourage everyone to do this as frequently as they can because this does a real to life demo of a CO detector working properly. There is maybe a 0.5-1s detection delay, but this very fast and more than sufficient to save anyone's life since the danger of CO is the build up over time. Even better, it displays any detected CO amount directly on the screen, so you would have a much longer heads up than just a second.I suspect it has to do with how it samples, as the same delay is present when removing the CO source. Since I'm an engineer, I'll try to explain this for anyone who may be interested in what this means - and why I consider it a good thing. Lets say it detected once every 0.2 seconds and got the following readings: "0, 50, 0, 50, 0, 50" it would average those out to display a 25 reading (or perhaps this is out of spec for the parameters of the detector and would display an error). Since it can only sample where the detector is physically located, it likely technically only knows if CO is present or not, so it actually depends on natural convections combined with numerous samples over time to estimate a PPM to display/alert on.You can say whatever you like about the merits of running a gas powered heater indoors, it frustrates me that the consensus seems to be simply "never ever burn gas indoors you'll die immediately!" The problem with that is, people know that's not true so they will just do it anyway not knowing what danger they are putting themselves in. Much better is to educate and equip people so that they can do it safely if they choose to accept the risk - THAT is what will actually save lives. This device solves for the equipping half of that equation, and I'm very thankful it exists.

Great product. Use it in my truck rack mounted tent with a heating system when itรขโฌโขs cold out. It is easily mountable by use of the paracord clip or magnetic mount. Loud alarm when detection occurs, temp reading and very fast charging with auto standby and long battery life.I use a propane Mr Heater that I hang near an air opening in the tent, but I can be sure I am protected in the event the CO build up may become dangerous with this excellent detector. It was a little bit more expensive than others I looked at, but I am completely satisfied with its rugged build, convenient size and that it passed all the tests I put it through. It is definitely worth the added cost for safety. Well done.I will recommend this to my other all weather, dispersed camping colleagues.

Works well, super portable and more rugged than I expected. I use it camping with tent heaters. Nice to not have batteries to change, a charge lasts at least three nights. Super loud obnoxious alarm, which is an awesome feature.

Seemed to work great. Only gripe is that the #s for temperature reading is pretty small. Like the fact that it's rechargeable.

I love the design of this device as it is so easy to position to keep in sight. Have already used in truck & in cook-cabin. Recharges quickly (C-type). Shows temp & humidity too. Small enough to be out of the way on visor. Tested at truck exhaust and gives loud warning & recovers quickly enough.

Here's a rewritten version of your Amazon review:I donรขโฌโขt have any issues with the unit itselfรขโฌโit appears to be a well-made, high-quality product. However, the instructions were a major letdown. The text was so tiny that even zooming in with my iPhone couldnรขโฌโขt make it legible. I ended up downloading a copy from Amazon and enlarging each section to a full page, but by then, the print was so blurry it was almost impossible to read. On top of that, the instructions seemed poorly translated from Chinese, which only added to the confusion. In the end, I got so frustrated that I decided to return the item.

I used to carry along a residential CO detector on travel that was not much bigger than this new one. So, itwasn't size alone for wanting something else. Instead, it was not wanting the residential detector to alarm at any time, giving me a heart attack. This new detector gives numbers so that we can track the baseline values, giving me confidence to sleep. The rechargeable battery last for 3 nights or so if turn off during the day. Wish it lasted longer as my old residential one runs for months on a 9v alkaline battery.

Bought this item for use in my rooftop tent for the temperature feature but ended up saving mine and my fiancรยฉs life! Was using my diesel heater, when another camper not far from my vehicle started their behicle to warm up at 3am. The exhaust was pulled into my heater fresh air intake and filled my tent with carbon monoxide! Thankfully the alarm on this unit did itรขโฌโขs job!
