I purchased this to replace my barrel on my 3 lb. Thumlers rock tumbler. The barrel was the exact size as indicated in the ad. This is very important when changing barrels on a tumbler to ensure it rotates correctly and at the right speed.There's not a lot that can be said about a barrel, but it works as planned with no issues. I would purchase again and probably will.

This product broke open 3hrs after use. The top does not have a washer like other models. The screw thread is very shallow, so it won't seal properly. Also the inside disk is undersize further making the seal loose. I should have spent the extra money on a better quality drum from another supplier.

I gave these drums a 3 star "good" rating even though they would not fit the 2 different tumblers I own. They are about 1/4 of an inch (6 mm) taller than the original drums that came with the tumblers. The Leegol tumbler was bought from Amazon and the Central Machinery from Harbor Freight. The original drums will swap between these two brands but the replacement drums as can be seen in the pic are just too tall. If you have an open ended type of tumbler these barrels would be a good buy as they are the same apparent quality as the originals that came with the tumblers.

Purchased 2 of these and they are great in all respects with one exception. They are about 1/4 inch longer than the ones that come with my leegol and Harbor Freight 6lb dual drum tumbelers. By themselves that is not a great deal of an issue but together they barely fit in the roller frame and won't tumble. Using one with a standard barrel that came with the tumbler there is no problems at all and they are well worth the purchase price.

It doesn't seal well, it leaks and opened completely once. Ive never had this problem with my 4 other barrels from a different manufacturer. Also this barrel is longer than my other barrels.

Very expensive for what it is, plus there are no ribs inside to tumble the media, and the "lid" is unfinished so very sharp on the edges. Also an inordinately long wait, I was given to understand by the ad it was made in the U.S but like so much these days it's made in China and for some reason posted to and through Australia to the the U.S then to U.K ? Hence the high price and the long wait! Would not purchase from this seller again.

I think the tumbler is missing the washer that gives extra strength to the lid when securing the lid. Time will tell how secure the lid is. I'm using the tumble barrel for polishing only.
