Your cart is empty. These are super tough plastic bristle brushes embedded with abrasives. They wear as they clean, continually exposing fresh abrasive. This is the ideal tool to replace scrapers, wire wheels, surface conditioning discs, and chemical gasket strippers. Stops the danger of loose wires flying back at the operator. Removes coatings, sealant and adhesives quickly, leaving a clean surface ready for subsequent operations.

Another awesome 3M product!! Used on a project to remove paint from hundreds of screw heads where the screws could not be removed from the equipment. Took a little time but worked like a charm w/o destroying the surrounding painted surface on the equipment. Set your pressure low on your die grinder as this little disc will rapidly remove paint if ur not careful.

Appears to be a genuine 3M disc. Hard to find these days on Amazon.

Cleaned off the carbon from my engines valves with ease. It is a bit abrasive so care needs to be taken on sealing surfaces

These discs are expensive but worth the money. I used them for removing automotive paint during a restoration. The belts are aggressive yet you don't have to worry about grinding away good metal. Also worked well on rusted areas that had some pitting.

I use this to remove stubborn head gasket material. Takes the majority of the stuff off no problem. I had a gasket on a 1960s Kohler that it struggled with, had to switch gears to scotchbrite

The #80 Roloc bristle disc is good for removing rust from harder metal like brake discs that have sat for a while. It cleans off the rust without marring the metal. I would not use this on a precision aluminum surface--I have used the #120 (white) to clean gasket material off of a cylinder head and intake manifolds successfully, though. I also bought the green (coarser than #80) so I could clean heavier rust off of some steel wheels, prior to repainting them. So overall, these are handy, work fast, and this particular grit works well for my purposes.

I was surprised that they were 15 dollars each. I saw them on wheeler dealer car show on motor trend tv. They used them to remove paint on a car they were working on. They will melt if you spin them to fast
