Nozzle recommendations are starting points only; refer to paint manufacturer for recommendations on fluid tip size. The replaceable nozzles are used exclusively with the gravity-fed 3M PPS Series 2.0 Spray Cup System, which helps to reduce material waste, mess and contamination compared to traditional metal paint cups. Forget about tearing down spray guns and soaking in solvent. Our complete, integrated spray system is your path to smarter cleanup. The atomizing heads attach to the 3M Performance Spray Gun needle and are tightly secured to the spray gun with a specially-designed locking collar. No additional tools required for changeouts. Simply remove the nozzle from the spray gun, and either appropriately clean the fluid tip or replace it to keep your spray gun performing like new.

This 3M gun is my main base coat gun. I have Iwata LS-400 and many other base coat guns, but this gun saves material, and shoots great. You can get tips from 1.0 to 2.0. But these 1.2 works great for sealer and clear. I use my Iwata WS-400 for clear, but i have used the 3M for clear before.

I just completed painting my boat with this spray gun. Works so much better than expected, cleanup is such a chore with my Binks 7, 20 seconds to clean then this is like a new gun with each use. Some may be concerned about the cost of the liners, tops with filters, and spray tips, but if you are shooting 50 dollars of paint per refill, it suddenly makes so much sense to have a quality tool to help me (a nonprofessional boat builder) get the results you are proud of.

Das System funktioniert super. Das Reinigen ist super einfach und geht sehr schnell. Selbst nach mehrmaligen reinigen könnte ich keine Verschlechterung des Spritzbildes feststellen. Ich habe einen Kastenwagen damit lackiert.

Fire and forget. Die Teile feuer ich nach dem Benutzen in den gelben Sack. Wird in den Job eingereist und ich hab meine Ruhe. Wir werden den Planeten mit unserer Wegwerfgesellschaft schon noch klein kriegen.... Schön ist es nicht aber praktisch.
