I've used the 3M Gold 220 with good results, but this cuts material better and seems to last longer. No problems with adhesion or wear. Excellent product!!!

This review is 2 months after purchase and also consider that the brand... 3M, so no worries. Never used sticky back paper before but figured for a hand built surfboard it may be time to give it a try. My experience was using it on a 6" foam backed & sanding block with clamps so no trimming was needed - peel a length off the roll, cut and apply to the block. The main material it was used on was to level sand polyester resin and it held up like a champ... as expected from most all 3M products.
