Bought this based on the reviews and many YouTube videos.Have not had the opportunity to install it yet but looking forward to getting it on to protect my car.Package arrived on time and product was not damaged.Can't wait to install it.There were no instructions with the item but while I was reading the reviews before I ordered, I really didn't expect any to be included.Overall I'm a satisfied customer and will review again after I install it.

Works great on motorcycles (Yamaha R1). Being in Florida, this is a must to protect your paint from the sand.

The film looks good but came with a defect on one side. I am not sure if this is normal however if you are DIY then this is one side that you can not use. Less margin of error.

I used this to cover my headlight lens on my BMW R1200RT. Worked great. I tried to test it on one of the saddlebags front side to protect its leading edge from rocks. It had too much of a curve and it was too tough for me to get a good clean covering without it looking like crap. So...I pulled it off. All that work and I even used a painstakingly cut template. But, for flatter surfaces it works very well if you follow the soap alcohol instructions.

I got this film for a non-automotive project - I was looking for a film that could protect a new Rimowa carry on piece of luggage for my wife. These are (expensive) aluminum-made pieces of luggage and we were/are looking for an invisible protective film instead of the standard bag-type protection offered elsewhere.The pros: Obtained the protection that I was expected - after installation and drying, the film has remained glued to the luggage. No scratches to the luggage.The cons (for this type of project): The surface of these pieces of luggage is rigged (not flat) with longitudinal crests running along the length of the bag every half inch. I feel this film is too thick for this type of surface.... despite a 1hr+ careful job trying to remove air bubbles, they appeared everywhere the moment the film finally dried up. The final finish looks cheap at closer look (1m away). I will have to try a new (thinner) film.

Bought this to run across the hood of my camper that was getting chipped by passing trucks. Good thickness. Good adhesion.
