The booster assembly is generally used to be installed under or in front of the car dashboard. It is installed horizontally and gradually. It uses the vacuum of the engine's intake manifold vacuum pump as power, through the driver's foot control, so that the driver can use a lighter pedal force to obtain a higher brake hydraulic pressure, thereby reducing the driver's working intensity and improving the system. The reliability of driving ensures the Safety of driving.
Installation tips：
When the booster is installed, the air in the oil pressure chamber is absolutely discharged to avoid affecting the boosting effect;
The air leakage at the copper valve is mostly due to the presence of sand or rust on the valve seal ring. It should be removed and cleaned, instead of using mineral oil (such as diesel, gasoline, etc.);
During installation, the vent of the screw should be upward; the angle between the push rod and the central axis should be controlled within ±5° during installation;

The product seems like OEM but there are a few minor differences. The check valve it smaller than the OEM.I bought an original Toyota brake check valve for my 98 4Runner which did not solve my original brake problem so, I thought of using it on the new booster. Come to find out, the fitting hole is too small for the OEM to fit. Also, the valve on the new booster sits way different, it is in place but without the safety plate that secures its position.Also, the new one is making lots of noises when you press in the brake pedal. I really hope the sound goes away with some use.Other than that, it works great. I can stop my 4Runner without effort for little money :)

This break booster was the correct length and perfect fit on my 1997 forerunner limited. It arrived promptly and had a great price.

4runner feels like a new vehicle again. Excellent, saved a good bit of money. Only took maybe 90 minutes to replace

Installed about a month ago - easy install. It works - but definitely not like OEM quality.Worth the money to get you back on the road quickly - but not sure of the durability.

I ordered this item hoping that it might fit my RHD 97 Hilux Surf with the 1KZ-TE engine (KZN185) after looking at the photos and the gamble paid off. It bolted up to the firewall and to my OEM master cylinder without any modifications. This item does not have the pressure sensor that is part of the KZN185 Surf's booster but I left mine unplugged and there were no dash lights. Took about 30 minutes to install and performed well above expectations. Warning: There are some Surfs with a 4 bolt master cylinder. This item will not fit those vehicles.
