They hold up way better than the plastic screws that come with the hood how ever they do occasionally back off a little over time and will have to be adjusted.

Seriously you need these. The o ring makes all the difference. You won't be disappointed. Installed on fiber metal pipeliner.

I replaced my lincoln electric knobs on my welding helmet. It's attached to plastic, but it works great and looks cool. Very happy with this set.

These work really well especially on a pipeliner hood without a cut in flip front. I cut in the flip front and had to add a neoprene O ring which works wonders at keeping this shield from falling down while fitting a joint or reaching for a grinder etc.If you have the same flip front as I do get a couple round neoprene/rubber O rings and your good to go.
