I was originally looking for cardboard mailing tubes to store my board-game playmats when I came across these. Unless you're buying the mailing tubes in bulk, these aren't much more expensive, and while not exactly super-high quality (they'll crush under fairly light weight), they are a better-looking and more permanent solution. These hold two smaller playmats (~12"x24") rolled together, or some larger ones rolled tightly.

These tubes meet the exact need I had, for storing and transporting smallish gaming mats. They are about as strong as you would expect at this price, and the mats fit fine.I had hoped that I could fit two mats for related games into one of the tubes, but they are too narrow for that. I knew it was a long shot, and I am not unhappy with storing those mats separately.

My bad, should have read more closely... butthese are tiny. Good for an art project or picture or something... not good for construction drawings... way too small.

Great sturdy material! Looks like it’ll last a long time protecting any important documents. Love that it’s waterproof too! Great for an emergency backpack/go-bag.

This is made from extremely cheap plastic that can easily be crushed. A movie theatre drink cup is stronger than this. It is also hard to extend. And as far as waterproof, that's a no because there is a hole in the bottom. The price is great, but you get what you pay for. I knew that these weren't going to be the greatest quality, but I did expect a little bit more. If you are not planning on storing anything remotely important than these will probably work for you. But for anything important to you, I would choose something else.

It’s nice that the size adjusts. I have two sets of house plans and one plot for my land. They were sitting in a closet unprotected. This did the trick and also made it easy to locate them.
