Item came with 2 gaskets. A little thicker than OEM. Quality seems good. Prepping is the key. I cleaned out the old gasket from brake light really good and cleaned the surface on the truck. Mounted perfect. Though the gasket was a little thicker, but when i tightened it down the seal was perfect. I ran water from garden hose and no more leaks! Thank you!

I would recommend you apply the one-sided adhesive to the vehicle, and then screw in 3rd brake light. make sure you clean the area with alcohol before sticking the gasket on I would also recommend you cut a small notch in the top of gasket where the wiring connector is. If you do not cut out the notch, the gasket may stick out to far on top near the connector.

What can I say, straight forward - take out light, clean up the area of old gasket (from the light and the cab) and re-install. It does come with 2 gaskets, not sure if it was supposed to, but good to have an extra. Mine wasn't actually leaking yet, I was replacing the headliner and this light has to be removed. I seen the gasket was really rough/dried up and chevy/gmc are prone to leaks in this area anyways. I didn't want to chance it after the brand new headliner. Anyways super easy, no complaints with this item.

2013 gmc sierra 1500 sle. Does not fit well in top side of light. Sticks out 1/4 in several spots. Bottom fits fine but on the top the gasket hits the light housing in 3 different places not allowing it to be flush. I just cut the excess off with a razor blade and put a bead of silicone around it. It should work but fitment is no good.

Provides an excellent seal. It comes as a two pack and I used them on my sons truck as well as my Dads truck. We’ve had a lot of heavy rain lately and neither one has leaked. I’m happy with it so far.
