These are functional and offered at very good price. The siding action to expand or close the clamp is not real smooth. I tried oiling the bar, but it didn’t help too much. I even sanded the paint off the slide hoping the action would be better. It didn’t seem to help much either. They are functional and if that doesn’t bother you…then it’s a very good price. I priced Dewalt clamps at Home Depot and the similar size is $13.00 apiece….so this is a steal. I would buy them again….they get the job done.

I purchased these clamps for use while building balsa model airplanes, and for that purpose they are PERFECT. It's easy to regulate the amount of pressure applied with the clamps, and they're light enough that several can be used on a balsa structure without fear of the weight damaging the part.

don't get me wrong, didn't expect a ton of force from these little clamps but they are decent. I got them because I'm just using it to repair some cracked plywood. Great price for 8 of them.

The plastic on these is a little lightweight, they feel a little cheap but they seem to hold well. The brand I used to buy doesn't seem to exist anymore so we'll see how these work out. If they turn out to be crappy I will update my review accordingly.

Don't bother. Cheaply made and poorly constructed of wobbly plastic and low-grade metal. Almost no holding power, the clutches slip as you tighten the grip, the release button is poorly located and ineffective.Their small size make them seem uniquely useful for those 3-handed projects around the shop. But their poor construction and disappointing function gives them almost no real utility. They are very inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.

They're small enough to fit into tight places and they hold very well! One thing I would recommend is gluing the little pads onto the base, they do tend to come off easily. Up to you!
