Ordered two wheels. Right out of the box one of the wheels does not turn. The bearings are seized up solid. The other appears to roll ok. Makes me question the long-term reliability. Returned the bad wheel. Fingers crossed the replacement will work.

This Sidco gate wheel has an inverted v in the wheel to glide down a track. The box is bent into shape and it is raw steel ready for welding in place and the box ends should be welded also. The wheel has sealed double bearings that need no servicing. The wheel has a black coating to protect it from the elements.

After about a month and a half now I've had to do 0 matinace for these wheels. my warehouse sliding gate opens and closes 20 times a day and had bearing seizures on other wheels before I'm so happy to see these will be with us for the long haul!

Good solid gate wheel.V Groove 1" wide.Relief groove at bottom of V should reduce bounce/noise.Common/ readily available sealed bearings with snap ring retainers.Nice machining and finish over zinc plating.Reasonable price.I expect good service over the years.

This is a heavy duty, well made, gate wheel/track. The bearing and materials are of good quality and their are no sharp edges or unfinished components.
