Very solid hooks, cables and clamps on a good master link. Way easier to use than individual straps or chains.

Good quality sling and handy for lifting items around my shop with a forklift. But..... these are 3/8" slings as opposed to the 1/2" diameter as described. The different safe vertical lift ratings between the two is around 40%. I only mention this as something to consider before purchasing. Otherwise, it works for my needs which are well within the safe load capacity ratings.

This rope sling overall will help with some general lifting tasks. The overall build quality is decent, and it should be serviceable for a long time.A few things to note however, is that with most items of this type, the overall finish can be a little crude. This one isn't bad, but the fraying ends of the cables after the crimp could be capped for a cleaner finish.The attached load plate is helpful and fairly easy to read.Note however, that this is advertised as a 1/2" line, AND the attached load plate states it's 1/2". I measured it at 3/8" which is quite a bit smaller in terms of braided cable. So now I'm wondering, what is the actual rated load for the sling??

Super heavy duty sling. I use it with a pulley to get heavier things up and stored on my garage overhead shelves. This certainly lightens the load of me just lifting things myself. IT’s way overkill for what I need it for, but better safe than sorry! I reckon I can use this in the future with my truck hitch on various things to move around on land.

I use this for lifting with my forklift. It slides on the fork and the cables are perfect to attach to many different things.

This is a pretty good value for a fairly strong lifting sling. The finish isn't perfect, with loose/frayed ends on the cable at the crimp, and the cable appears to actually be 3/8 and not 1/2 inch, but for my intended use (garage hoist system) those shortcomings don't really matter.If you are planning to approach the stated weight limit, you might consider whether this is the sling to get. For DIY'ers planning more modest uses, this is a good product.
