These are pretty decent brackets, but handle with care. These brackets are stamped out of a single piece of sheet metal and then bent into the final shape as one would expect. The gauge of the metal is good and the paint finish is not bad. HOWEVER, the inside edges of the bracket are very sharp to the point where I cut myself quite badly while handling them. This is an artifact of the stamping process and obviously they did not clean up the edge after the piece was stamped. The result is metal burr around the inside edge that is very sharp even after painting. Not what you would expect considering they are quite pricey for what they are. You could always clean up the edge yourself, but if you have to do that, you may as well buy a much cheaper set and clean them up and paint them yourself.
