Was able to decorate them and they looked lovely. The size and weight were perfect. The bottle had a good thickness and sealed very well. Kept it fresh.

I have ordered some glassware in the past that has not made it through shipping without being broken. These bottles are so thick I don't think that there is any way they could be accidentally damaged in transit. I don't think these would break even if you dropped them but I definitely don't want to test that out because I am excited to use them in a couple of weeks to bottle some mead that we have been fermenting. They are seriously heavy duty well made bottles that would work well for bottling any type of home-brew that you want to bottle in larger batches. I love that the corks are more or a rubber stopper than a cork and can be used over and over again and still will provide a good seal.

My wife infuses vodka, rum, and brandy with fruit from our orchards. She loves giving nice bottles with her homemade “liqueurs†to friends, and is always on the lookout for fancy bottles. These are almost perfect, except the opening is so narrow it will be hard to get fruit in without smashing or bruising it. Cherries and blackberries will work, but not larger fruit unless it is sliced quite thin.Still, these have a fun shape and are reasonably priced, so we will use them and simply be careful in the process.
