The size of this item is roughly 2 inches wide on the outside and 1 1/4 wide on the inside. Its a nice solid product - but not silky smooth. The casting is sub-par compared to other products I have used in the past. The bolt screwed in to this lifting eye nut just fine, but it was a little 'rough' threading it on - just because of the sub-par casting. But overall its a good solid product and I am still giving this a 4-star rating.
