I have multiple small syringes instruments and have hygrometers . With two of these in , say , a violin case , where smbuant humidity in Ohio in January is 30%, it takes to 43%. However, if I don’t get to one for a week, they are dry and has drifted down to 30’s. I now use the packets in those lesser played ones and the dampers in my more frequently played ones

I bought a device to put in my violin in the winter months to regulate the humidity. It was so poorly made that it fell apart when I just took it out and looked at it. If I had put it in the violin it would have come apart and would have been hard to get the small part out of the violin. I am returning it as soon as possible

Does the job. Had to super glue the end bits in because they weren't secure. 4 of 5 because I had to modify - but is good.
