Good to stay reasonable warm in the winter. Our children often throw off their hats, but enjoy these enough to keep them on. Very cute and useful.

This balaclava seems thin, but the material is very warm. It’s the perfect complement to a winter hat. It provides complete coverage of the ears, neck, face, and the back of the head. It blocks the wind, and adds a surprising amount of warmth. My 10 yr old tried this on. He said it was thin and lightweight and not as thick as some of the other face masks we have. If you prefer something not as thick and bulky then you will like these ski masks.
