They seemed a little thin when I opened them. But when I put one on and stepped outside in 16 degrees F weather with a 20 MPH wind, they blocked the wind as advertised, and kept the cold off my face and neck. Also, the drawstring allows you to wear one as a fully functional stocking cap, and one as a neck gator, making an effective balaclava. Considering you get 4, I think these are a steal for the price

I'm not sure this qualifies as fleece. My first impression was that it's a non-woven fabric because of how thin and not stretchy it is, but upon very close examination, I can see it's actually woven. They are exceptionally small. Won't fit my 8yo's (large-ish) head.Drawstring is not stretchy, it's just nylon, so don't expect it to help keep the edge over the nose. It works to turn the gaiter into a hat.Straight-stitched, so breaking any stitch will immediately open the whole seam. You won't miss them when you lose them or they come apart after a few weeks.Update: though thin, they've held up and turned out perfect for someone who hates dealing with their ponytail under a hat. Upgraded from 2 to 4 stars.

The materials are light, but warm. Easy to put on. Good products. Reasonable price.

The price was right so I grabbed these for my kids for using on their way to school during the winter. They said it helped keep them warm. My complaint is that the drawstring started to unravel after only a month of use. It made it harder to make it snug across their face.

Super thin! I would say this would be ok for a chilly Autumn day but definitely not winter. I will definitely be returning these!!
