These work great for our kegerator, and the ability to write and erase on the tap is really what sold us. The included markers were a bit too thick, so I ordered a fine tip chalk marker set, and they all work great together. The chalk surface is easy to clean, and when the chalk is dry, it doesn't smudge.

I recently added 2 taps to my garage refigerator and these handles are great! I used to just write on the door what each of the party taps inside were for but now I can just write it on the handle and no need to open the door for a frosty one.
