Good sturdy clips and as others say the screws are probably not durable but I hadn't planned on using them anyhow.

I didn't have any problems with the screws that other reviewers had. These worked great for the farmhouse tables I made for my wife's classroom. Will be buying more to have on hand for future projects. These aren't a fancy product, so my review is going to follow suit, but you can't beat the price on these and the quality is the same as the ones you'd pay twice as much for.

They are heavy duty, perfect for securing a table top. You can reshape them a little, if necessary, with a vise and hammer.

I built a night stand and needed a way to hold the top on while still allowing for seasonal wood movement. These little brackets are one of the easiest answers. I used a biscuit joiner to cut slots, then screwed these into the top with the hook in the slot. The are quite sturdy and hold great. Be sure to pre-drill for the screws in hard wood as they are not the highest quality and will easily round out if pushed too hard.With a 40 pack, I have enough to get me through several more projects as well.

Exact positioning of the slit in the sidewall of the cabinet is critical when using this product. It was hard to get the exact dimension from the top of the cabinet sidewall to the slit. Even when I got a perfect fit for the z-fastener, there was still play in the joint. I checked the positioning by lifting up on the countertop after tightening the screw, and always found that the countertop could be lifted slightly. I eventually gave up on fastener system and used a conventional 90-degree angle bracket.

These are by far , the best hold downs I have ever used. They will not bend, proper size and come with strong screws. I am using 6 for an oak end table and am very sure of their strength. Great price also.
