I have used these screws on all types of medals and these screws hold up well. I mostly used these for hanging aluminum signs on 1/2 steel and they worked great. just don't let the head overheat and they will get it done for you.

Daaaaang! You don't know how useful these are until you need them. I used them to hack (invert) a metal shelf. I was able to set 16 screws in less than 20 minutes - and I'm super slooooow. These are AMAZING! They're a must have in your tool / fastener supplies.

The screws appear to be fine and they work ok but there are a couple of other things that buyers need to be aware of and the ad doesn't mention. The listing gives the screw size in #s and in fractions of an inch but the head size are metric (6 and 7mm) and inch sized sockets will not fit. Also the plastic box is so flimsy that it should be called a bag, it badly distorts just from picking it up and I can't even latch mine closed. Also mine came a hole already busted in the box. The shipping box was undamaged so it looks like happened before it was shipped. Finally these are type A screws and have a rather course thread and may not be suitable for thin sheet metal or brittle material. For those you should use type AB screws.

Nice to have an assortment of self tapping screws. Surprised to see many hand a plastic washer attached to added in protection from the elements outdoor.An review mentioned these are not stainless steel cause they are not non magnetic. Well Type 410 is a martensitic stainless steel that provides good corrosion resistance plus high strength and hardness. It is magnetic in both the annealed and hardened conditions.Overall good value if ever I need more will buy again.

These worked good for what I bought them for. They could have slightly more body to the threads to bite into the material after the self-drilling is done, but they do work.

You can see by the description that you get a variety of sizes (#8, #10 and #12) which is perfect for me. The finish is good with no rough burrs and good threads. No issues with fitting the Allen key into the head.
